School of Education Programs
Hunter College has two undergraduate teacher education programs.
QUEST is for students who wish to become childhood teachers (grades 1-6).
ADOLESCENT EDUCATION is for students who wish to become middle or high school teachers of a particular subject (grades 7-12).
Both
programs require that students apply after they have been accepted to
Hunter. The application process involves a paper application, a writing
sample and an interview. Students must apply by November 1 for the
spring term and by April 1 for the fall term. Applications are
available in the School of Education, Room 1000 West.
