A Message from the CIO
Welcome to Hunter College! As a student of Hunter College you will have access to all kinds of educational technology supported by ICIT. Your Hunter NetID (SNet) account gives you e-mail capabilities. You will also need that NetID and password to log into important Hunter resources including the wireless network, library databases, printing, copying, book vouchers and OneCard tax-free dining services.
Important: Official Hunter College correspondence, which will contain critical information, will be sent directly to your Hunter College e-mail account. You are responsible for reading the official messages that are sent to your Hunter College e-mail account.
ICIT provides a number of additional services. The many campus student
computer labs contain the latest software for use in courses. There are
also many technologically advanced classrooms on campus to enhance your
learning experience. Hunter College libraries contain hundreds of
student computers, including loaner notebook computers for use in the
library. The Hunter College student wireless network continues to
expand, affording connectivity at many locations around campus.
