Logging in to Hunter and CUNY services
A list of which services use the Hunter NetID and which use the CUNY PortalID
Services that use the Hunter NetID
- WiFi (hunternet) access
- PAC logon (Students only)
- Podcasting
- Library journal and database access while off-campus
- WebRoster (Faculty only)
- CMS Pilot
Services that use the CUNY Portal ID
These services are normally only available to you after signing on to the CUNY Portal with your Portal ID. Once you have done that you will not be prompted for a password again.- Blackboard (“Side Door” access to Blackboard is no longer supported)
- CUNY eMall
- ePermit
- DIG
- eSIMS (If you used to bypass the CUNY Portal and log into eSIMS using your SSN and a PIN, you will need to change to using the CUNY Portal as this method is no longer supported)
Services that use their own user and password system
- Novell File Servers and File shares unless specified
- Facilities Work Order system
- WTTS (time and leave system)
- FOCIS
